Elizabeth Lavenza is a character in the 1931 film Frankenstein, based on Mary Shelley's novel of the same name. She is the fiancee of Dr. Victor Frankenstein.
Elizabeth is worried by how her fiancee, Victor, secluded himself in his laboratory and refused to see anyone. Frankenstein's Monster runs loose on the day of the wedding, and Victor tells her to stay in one of the rooms. The Monster climbs through the window and makes her drop unconscious on the bed out of fright. The wedding is postponed for a day, and she marries Victor offscreen.
